Zuver was a start-up, mobile app-based company, which offered a 'driver on demand' service at your doorstep at competitive rates. Customers could book a driver in advance or in real time on an hourly basis or for a whole day. The company recognised its drivers as its backbone, and each were hired after undergoing a rigorous screening and verification process as well as soft skills training.
Since Zuver was a start-up, it was necessary to create market awareness of the brand and position it in a way that made it stand out from its competitors.
Anticipating the launch of Zuver in Mumbai, we partnered with Mumbai Cocktail Week, a week-long celebration of cocktails across the city’s top bars. Zuver was the title sponsor of the event, and the application was officially launched at the inauguration of Mumbai Cocktail Week. We also approached media across a variety of verticals, including lifestyle, tech and start-up, which enabled us to highlight the different aspects of the company, generate publicity and establish credibility. The company has since been successfully bought over by driveU.
Over the course of six months, which included the pre-launch, launch and post-launch phases, we were able to facilitate extensive visibility for the brand in the media across local and national print and online publications. These included Your Story, VC Circle, Tech in Asia, NDTV Gadgets 360, Mid-Day, Indian Infoline, Loksatta, The Economic Times and The Times of India.
